PassOver: Artemis II / Pesach 2026
*Limited thru end of April*
Commemorative tee marking a once-in-our-lifetime historical coincidence. NASA's Artemis II will launch from Kennedy Space Center at 6:24 PM on April 1, 2026, minutes before sundown, the exact moment Pesach (Passover) 5786 begins.
The first crewed mission beyond low Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972, lifting off as Jews around the world will sit down for the Seder. The ten-day mission to the Moon and back will span the entirety of the holiday.
The SLS rocket in architectural elevation passes through a round of shmura matzah that doubles as the Moon. Because the Moon has always looked like a piece of hand-baked matzah.
Drawing by Jamie Moshe Straz, AIA. Not hand-signed. Note image will be light on lighter colored shirts such as yellow/beige (intentional).
